Living the Yoga – online immersions for truth seekers, light bringers & world changers
For thirteen years, we offered a 285-hour teacher training and yoga immersion program called 9 Months of Transformation. At this moment in history, we feel that what our world needs is more dedicated yoga practitioners, not necessarily more newly-minted yoga teachers who are looking for teaching opportunities that no longer exist in the abundance they once did.
To that end, we are thrilled to introduce 3-month yoga immersions for dedicated students to explore the depth of yoga, philosophy, self-study and community. Each 3-month Living the Yoga session is open to everyone- you do not need to do them all, or do them sequentially in order to participate.
We completed Living the Yoga, Part I – Exploration, Embodiment, Resilience in April 2022.
Living the Yoga, Part II – Discernment, Activation, Purpose begins late August 2022. We hope you’ll join us!
why yoga?
Why are you here? What do you believe in? How can you feel better? How can you do better? How can you embrace the fullness of your life and your place in the collective human experience, regardless of your situation or circumstance? These are the kinds of questions that bring us, again and again, to the Yoga.
Fortunately, the Yoga does not disappoint. While it does not answer the Big Questions, consistent practice and application of the philosophy helps us get better at asking the questions and living the answers — because that is where the real magic of life resides: in the process, in the mystery. Not in the destination.
The teachers of blue lotus are devoted to sharing the gifts and teachings of yoga — for those who wish to someday teach as well as those who just want to move through life with more ease and greater joy. And so, after 13 years of offering a successful yoga teacher training program, we have reimagined what deeper yoga learning can be.

What is the refund policy?
As with all of our offerings, refunds are not available once the program has begun. Fees paid, less a $250 administrative fee, will be refunded if you withdraw from the course before August 1, 2022.
Can I attend if I am not from the Triangle area?
Absolutely! Every aspect of this training is conducted on the Zoom virtual platform. We welcome you to join us from anywhere!
How demanding is the training?
Even if there were no outside reading, weekend or weeknight commitments or class attendance to be completed, committing to a program of self-study is an intense experience. The dedication required to truly immerse yourself into this ancient practice for three months is no small endeavor and should not be undertaken lightly.
As life sometimes gets in the way despite our best efforts, all sessions will be recorded, and you have access to those recordings for the full three months of your immersion experience.
What will I learn in the course?
Like most endeavors, you will get as much out of the course as you invest into it. Our intention behind offering this yoga immersion runs deep, for at its core, yoga is a way to help you reach your fullest potential. Through the process of deep and honest self-study, discipline, and surrender, we expand our minds and hearts. Precepts of the program are creating community, developing self-awareness, and living authentically. For this reason, it is wise for you to be clear about your intention for embarking on the journey. Practically speaking, you will:
• cultivate self-care and create a balanced home practice
• study asana, as well as pranayama and meditation techniques
• understand the art and science of sequencing poses for safety and optimal energetic flow
• explore practical anatomy & physiology as well as energetic anatomy
• study the philosophy of yoga, according to Patanjali, as a guideline for living a full and joyful life
• experience community cultivation with course instructors
• explore and learn the importance of good studentship and concentrated practice
